Orthodontic Sterilizers Our X-ray system is completely digital. This means the lowest possible radiation exposure. It also means we don’t use film developing chemicals that could harm the environment. The most recent advance in X-rays is the Cone Beam 3 Dimensional X-ray. We waited until the newest machines with the lowest radiation dose became available and purchased our Galileos 3-D X-ray machine in September of 2007. This technology allows us to see things we had difficulty visualizing before and allows us to plan treatment better than ever before! The radiation exposure is less than five days worth of what you get from the general background cosmic radiation in the general environment!
